The visit of the museum

The visit also includes a 30mn documentary film devoted to the battle of the Somme.

There is no guided tour for school groups in the museum. Teachers can download educational packs in English here.

You can complement your visit to the Historial with a guided tour on the Battlefields of the Somme. (transport not included)

The Remembrance tour  is the opportunity for you to discover the Lochnagar Mine carter of La Boisselle, the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme, the trenches of the Newfoundland Park, and a bristish, a french and a german war cemetery.

The tour can be adpated to grant your request.

Circuits : Duration : around 3 hours - Rate : 92 € per guide (a guide per bus).

 

If you plan to have a day trip in the Somme (visit of the museum + tour on the battlefields), you can ask for a picnic room depending on the availabilities. Booking and information : educ@historial.org

The Café du Musée can propose a  "Pack Lunch  " including 1 cold or hot drink (except special beers) + 1 sandwich + 1 crisps package + 1 season fruit:  7.00€ per person. Booking et information : cafedumusee@historial.org
